Life is fragile, like the dew hanging delicately on the grass, crystal drops that will be carried away on the first morning breeze. From the Book Buddhist Offerings.
I have been blessed with good health, and so even a nasty virus or flu like symptoms stop me in my tracks.
Such a nasty little bug hit me this week. There I was going about life and doing all the things I take for granted and then bam everything changed…..
Anyone reading this would think that I had been struck down with some serious illness…..when what I have will simply slow me down for a few days – (probably not a bad idea) and then I will be back to normal again.
What I am feeling is a sense of deep gratitude. Gratitude for the years of good health I have enjoyed. A reminder to never take good health for granted.

I can hardly add to the other commendations except to say you caught the fragility and beauty of life.
I get those viruses every winter now, and they knock me around and take weeks to recover. Get well soon!
