Turning the corner…..with magical hummingbirds

After a week of flu like symptoms, I can feel that I have turned the corner.    In a couple of days I I should be back to my normal, energetic self……of course with the help of the Magical Hummingbirds:)

As I said in my  post at the beginning of last week….I have been blessed for much of my life with very good health, and so am acutely aware of the changes that happen both physically and mentally when things are not quite right.

It’s as if my world of colour diminishes.

However, as the corner is turned, the colour becomes brighter and the desire to spread some of that colour around with brush and paint ever stronger…..Yes:)

Most importantly I am reminded of just how fortunate I am.

And to never take good health and all that accompanies it for granted….

Have a day filled with colour and magical hummingbirds.

So glad you’re feeling better, Janet. May you soon be complete in every way, and floating on inspiration. And I know those hummingbirds are going to stay right with you… encouraging you, and enjoying the honey that you exude. xxx

I’m sorry that I didn’t realize you had the flu, Janet. But glad you’re better and hop you feel fabulous fast!
Colors work wonders, don’t they. I always say that when i wear all neutrals (even light colored ones) i just don’t feel very well. I can’t imagine how so many of my coworkers can stand to wear unrelieved black or other all dark-drab colors every day.
I think color is much more important than people realize.
Hugs to you and the hummers. 😀

The weather has been very grey and overcast here and I was reminded when Looking at some paintings I made in Portugal last spring, what a difference…sunshine can makes:)
Hugs to you and have a lovely day. Janet.

Just looking at those delightful paintings would cure anyone of anything. Sorry to hear you have had a dose of the lurgy, it is so very draining, I’m pleased to hear you are on the mend. Here’s to you fully recovering.xxx

Hi Dina…yes, draining is the word, but I am definitely now moving in the right direction…..and it feels good. Have been thinking about you and your recent stay in Bath….am just about to read your blog. HOpe all’s well with your family of humans and furies:)xxx

I’m fluttering my tiny wings at you as fast as I can, hoping to send you a massive dose of the healing magic of hummingbird love. May you be in full, joyful health instantly, my dearest! We two managed to pick up grubby colds from one or t’other of the multitudinous singers, students, and friends with whom we’ve been spending so much time lately, but we had plenty of cause for thanks that we didn’t have the full-on flu, and that we both are healing quickly. I wish you the same, and then some. With much love!
