‘When I used to drive and heard a knocking sound in the engine, instead of worrying, I would turn the radio up’ – Janet Weight Reed.
rapid watercolour/gouache – Conca dei Marini – Amalfi Coast, Italy.
For me this a metaphor for life….Rather than worry about all the minutia, I find it better to either throw some paint around, take a long walk or turn the music up.
Some magical hummingbirds for the day.
A bientôt
The second one great; good throwing. 😉
Thank you so much:)
It’s certainly not worth sweating the small stuff is it? You do make me laugh, loved that quote about your car…..those humming birds are heavenly!xxx
Thank you, Dina….thought you might appreciate:)xxx
I am in love with the last painting here of the hummers Janet. It is simply beautiful. xxx
Thank you so much – enjoy the day:)
I love that quote, and it made me smile… though I know that if we were traveling together, it would probably cause me despair. I suppose there are certain attitudes we can appreciate best when we see them from a distance… My very best to you, my dear friend… wishing you fine music in your ears, and no alarming knocks.
Good morning, Shimon – your comment made me smile:) Thank you and have a beautiful day filled with music xx
I’m with Shimon but love the joy and the ease of attitude and the paintings. Such rich colours!
Thank you, Olga.
