Yaki Da – Happy Saint David’s Day….

This photograph is of the bridge over the River Usk at Crickhowell, Wales (aka the Magical Town of Crickadoon) – a place I lived and worked in for twelve years.

I almost forgot, that today is Saint David’s Day – Saint David being the patron saint of Wales…….and so to all my dear friends in Wales….Yaki Da 🙂

Hi Janet. I wasn’t familiar with St. David’s Day, but I’m all for days of celebration! 😀 That photo is breathtaking, especially the lighting. I hope you are having a magical week. Mega hugs my friend.

Good morning dear Teagan and thank you so much. When I lived in this magical place for twelve years, I walked across this bridge at least twice a day, every day…..and it never lost its magic. You would love it….and I am quite sure it would inspire all sorts of writings. Meanwhile, have a magical weekend my friend, filled with colour and hummingbirds…janet. xxx

This is such a beautiful picture. And how wonderful it is to think of saints. I was thinking… hoping that he had an easy end. And then looked it up, and he did. That made the story all the more powerful.
