The colours of Autumn….

“Autumn’s the mellow time”      William Allingham

I am off to Wales and Somerset to be with good friends and of course take photographs and make watercolour sketches.     As usual I will take a break from technology during this period.

Back here around the 24th November.

Dear Janet, you left us with such a treat! I know the hummingbirds will carry you to a wonderful time.
(Oh, by the way… yesterday I discovered a property in Austin, TX that is about to come on the market. It sounds just about perfect. A friend there is going to check it out for me. So I’m feeling a little brighter.) Safe journeys and hummingbird hugs!

Full of life, color and boldness, I think that you could easily be the poster child for watercolor and gouache, for those that think that the medium/s are wishy washy and dull. Enjoy your break and happy painting and visiting!

There you go, Janet, into the land of my fathers, taking along your watercolors and your imagination, putting things aside, paring down, getting to the essentials–there to meet friends. What more does a person need really?
