I am looking forward to painting and being with dear friends in France during the next couple of weeks.
First to SW France and then onto Lorient, Brittany. Hopefully I will return with a filled sketch book and watercolour paintings.

Au Revoir dear Janet. The concept of going “off to paint and be with friends” has me completely dazzled, and then your paintings here are a delight. The first painting of the waders seems like a completely new subject for you, and I loved it. The title, the grace, and playfulness are fantastic. And the egret is astounding! Those broad, pure white wings amidst the splashing of water and activity–brilliant. I gasped when I saw the splashing water, so lovely. And the springtime hummingbird, also a complete joy. I know you have already departed, may not receive this…enjoy, enjoy. Your celebration of life is a true inspiration.
