I’m very glad we’re now following each other. I can’t remember now whether you arrived at my blog via Benjamin Prewitt or not but you may not have realised that we have an off-line connection that involves, unless I’m very much mistaken, Julia Dennis and the Richmond area!
Sarah
Hi Sarah….just read this….still finding my way around WordPress:) yes, we do have Julia Dennis as a connection which I love. Look forward to reading many more of your blogs in the future. Janet.
With regards to your site and your work — You are very gifted! Love your work!
Thank you Carol…just finding some comments that I have’t responded to. Hope you have a creative weekend. Janet 🙂
Thank you for visiting my website.
Yeah!!! Hi Janet, it was lovely to meet you at The Advanced Course last weekend, I loved our interraction and how we laughed at the synchronicity of our differing life experiences dovetailing and relating so well to each other. I am looking forward now to the SELP and continuing through the door that opened as a result of the course. Lovely to experience your stunning and inspiring work, uplifting, vibrant and energising. Really exciting. I do hope our paths cross again soon, I have signed up to follow you on your blog and will enjoy the updates. Blessings, love, joy and happiness. Deborahxxxx
Hi Deborah….thank you so much for this lovely message, and yes it was wonderful to meet you at Landmark. I definitely hope we see one another again.
Meanwhile, enjoy the SELP, which I am also looking forward to. I begin in May.
Enjoy this beautiful weather and the opening of many more new doors. Janet:)xxxx
Beautiful works of art! Especially enjoyed the history.
Thank you very much:)
I love the sense of freedom in your work! It’s inspired and a bit like flying! Gorgeous! And I completely agree with your way of seeing!
Hi L’Adelaide….thank you so much for kind words….I love to fly:) and I see from your work that you also love colour and movement. I look forward to following you and seeing much more of your work. Janet.
Those are the words I was searching for. I enjoy the tenderness. Colors are fabulous.
I seek permission to use your Blue Heron image as part of a design marking a virtual airline. My hobby is flying aircraft in a virtual space online – a flight simulation. I have reached the point that I am undertaking developing my own airline. I found your image online and think it would work well as part of my logo. This would not be for resale and use would be very limited to myself and those few members in my hobby that might care to join my airline (most virtual airlines grow to a couple hundred pilots) Please let me know under what terms you would allow such use, if at all.
Thank you.
Good morning Bredt, Thank you for this intriguing comment. I would be happy to allow you to use the heron design…however, if your membership becomes as big as British Airways or Virgin Airlines, then we would need to negotiate some sort of a royalty fee:) Would you please send me a link to your virtual airline. Janet.
hello janet and thank you for following and reading my blog, i look forward to doing the same for you – best, beth
Yes, indeed. Janet:)
The feeling of freedom that you’re expressing so well in your work is so powerful, so beautiful, the soul and the essence of life itself. I your love for colors I’m “reading” a world of positive emotions and a joyful celebrating of life. I think you’re very talented and I admire the beauty you’re bringing into the world by your creations.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I’m honored to know that you liked my latest post and I feel blessed to be able to admire the artistic expression of your heart.
Best wishes,
Cari
Thank you so much, Cari for your comment. It makes my day:) I look forward to reading your blog. Best wishes, Janet.

Thank you so much, Katarina. Janet
Hi Janet, I’ve dropped by to tell you I have updated my Heroes In My Garden Page and added you! ♥
Good morning, Mandy – thank you so much:)
I don’t know if I told you I added you to my Heroes In My Garden page. I’ll be running out of flowers as the season ends. Your blog always inspires me 🙂 http://healingbeyondsurvival.wordpress.com/my-heros/
Thank you so much, Mandy….I love your flowers:)
Hello Janet, me again …
Here’s a little message from Türkiye to say “thank you”. I appreciate your ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.
Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.
You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my small collection. There are plenty of drop-down categories within the menu bar to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended 🙂
Thanks again and hope you have a great day…

Hi Uncle Spike, I have been off line for the past 48 hours and so lovely to find your comment here today. Thank you so much for the information….I can tell already that I will thoroughly enjoy visiting your blog.
Hope you are enjoying a lovely day….Janet:)
Thanks Janet – busy day, but wouldn’t have changed it
Hi Janet, I found one of your hummingbird paintings through a google search and would like to use it as an accompanying picture for a blog post (www.brickandsky.com) because it’s such a perfect fit! Is that ok? I want to make sure I’m paying due respect to you as an artist. Peace & love, Ama
Hi Ama, I would be delighted if you used the hummingbird image. Love the look of your blog and what I read so far. Peace and love to you. Janet:)
Wonderful! Thanks so much Janet 🙂 Happy to be connected.
Your work is absolutely beautiful.
Good morning JoAnn,
Thank you so much. Janet:)
Thank you for visiting my blog and liking one of my posts. Blessings, Natalie 🙂
You are most welcome:)
Hey Janet!! I have decided to reward your blog with the Versatile Blogger Award!! I hope it will make you happy and give you that little tap on the shoulder we all need at times.I really think you deserve it and I hope it will put a smile on your face on this Sunday morning!!! Thank you for being such a loyal follower!! I really appreciate it!! Here are the details http://tobedamit.com/2015/02/15/versatile-blogger-award/. Peace Out!! Keep on Bloggin!! Hugz!
Thank you for liking my posts. Your paintings are vibrant and beautiful. They show a happy, optimistic perspective on everything, which I and my writing totally lack. 🙂
Beautiful work Janet!
Thank you, Mary – your comment is much appreciated.
I noticed a few asking to use and share your art work in their endeavors. It gave me an idea. Is it possible to use some of your art for affirmations? I’ll be glad to share with you before posting. Of course I would add your name to the art. My affirmations are my original quotes. They are only shared on Facebook and Twitter. As you suggested to the virtual airline gentleman if his company becomes huge you would negotiate a fee. If I should ever receive money and/or offered money I’ll be happy to share. Thanks for improving our world with your beautiful art. The website, Hugs2Go.com, below is a parenting child supportive site. It doesn’t receive any monies. Perhaps I might add an affirmation in the future. I’m still learning about designing websites
Good morning Anne,
Thank you so much for your positive response to my work. Are you talking about using ‘hummingbird images’? – which I could see would work well with affirmations with regards to family and children. I would be very happy to work with you on this….as you say as long as you make clear that it’s my artwork. Here is my e mail address – jcrhumming@hotmail.com Good luck with Hugs2Go.com – I like the look of it. Janet:)
Thanks for visiting my blog again and for liking another of my posts. Blessings, Natalie 🙂
You are most welcome:)
Hello Janet. You don’t have to do this. I won’t mind at all, but I just nominated you to do the 5 photos 5 stories. There’s no deadline – just to be done over 5 consec days. You put a link to me when you start, and each day nominate someone else and put a link to their blog. I thought of you because I was picturing one of your brilliant ‘phases’ of a picture being created. I thought you could spread it over 5 posts which could be v. interesting. Anyway that was just my idea. Here’s my post with more details about the challenge at the bottom: http://tishfarrell.com/2015/05/20/5-photos-5-stories-hidden-wenlock-3/ Cheers.
Hi Tish…..sorry to be late in responding….will be starting my 5 consecutive days tomorrow – 8th June. 🙂
Brilliant. I shall look forward to your creations.

I discovered you & your work while Googling daVinci’s “The smallest feline is masterpiece” on my new T-shirt. I had a wonderful calico cat who also used to be feral (free roaming). The colors & designs of your cats are marvelous & cheer me up to look at them. We also have hummingbirds here in Northern Virginia USA in warmer weather. Next I will Google your books & cat designs on eBay . Happy Christmas.
Good evening from London, Michelle and thank you so much for your lovely comment. I always enjoy connecting with follow cat and hummingbird lovers. I am familiar with your part of the States….I lived and worked in the States from 1966 tis 1993, when I returned to Europe. I still visit, and love to watch the hummingbirds when I do. Have a very Merry Christmas and wonderful new year. janet:)
