After a very busy three months, I am now looking forward to returning to the beautiful school in Olhao, Portugal. http://www.artinthealgarve.com
Shadow play on the upper level of school house with 150 year old olive tree.
I enjoy observing and capturing the movement of light and shadow. The internal courtyards afford wonderful opportunities for this.
The olive tree meanders up through the different levels of the school. This was the view from my bedroom on the second level.
Along with superb painting opportunities in the different courtyards and of course throughout the town – there is also a fantastic studio…….
Alhoa is a fishing town, and so along with an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, we will enjoy beautifully prepared seafood all prepared in the school’s kitchen, overseen by the wonderful Margarida.
Super light and texture!
Thank you very much….Janet:)

What fun you will have, Roddy and I met in Portugal and spent several years on the island of Madeira. The people are just wonderful and I am sure the painting opportunities will be fantastic. X
